South Burnett Regional Council advises that dog registration renewals were issued on Tuesday 1 September 2026.
Residents are reminded the current registration period is from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027, or 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2029 for 3-year registrations, with registration renewal payments due by Tuesday 13 October 2026.
If you have not paid your dog registration, please contact Council by this date to make payment or to update any details, including change of ownership, moved out of the area or if your dog has sadly passed away.
Payment can be made using the BPAY reference number on your notice, over the phone 4189 9100 with the customer service team or over the counter at one of our customer services centres.
Please note under the Animal Management (Cats and Dogs) Act 2008 Section 54 it is the animal owner’s responsibility to notify Council within 7 days of any changed information. Penalties apply for failing to update details.
