Due to the recent localised flooding of the Barambah Creek at Ficks Crossing, the water currently has very high turbidity. Since the Wondai water supply scheme draws water from Ficks Crossing, customers may experience some discoloured water. Irregular intermittent discolouring may last for the next two days. Disinfection continues to ensure the water remains safe for residents.
The treatment process is not operating at full capacity. Customers are urged to reduce consumption where possible.
