South Burnett Regional Council advises, due to mechanical issues with the ventilation system and delays in getting replacement parts the South Burnett Aquatic Centre in Nanango will be reopening Friday 27 March 2026.
Please contact the Pool Manager to make arrangements for classes and lessons. Council’s swimming pools in Blackbutt, Kingaroy, Wondai, Murgon and Proston will be open during this closure and offer a range of classes and lessons.
Council appreciates the community's understanding and patience during this time and look forward to welcoming everyone back to an improved facility.
