South Burnett Regional Council is inviting our community to give final feedback on the development of the Community Plans for 2026.

During April 2026, Council held several informal chats throughout the region with the community to review our Community Plans to reflect any changing aspirations of our community.  This also allowed reporting back to the community on what has been achieved out of the Community Plans that were adopted last year.

With the assistance of the local communities, the draft Community Plans have been developed with residents giving input into their own local areas.  The individual plans will be able to be used for specific communities, and the consolidated document will assist Council to represent the region and advocate to other levels of government.

Council will now continue the cycle of the community consultations each year, with one round of in person consultations held prior to the budget being adopted, and another online survey held after the adoption of the budget.

The Community Plans are available to view online, with an online survey form available to provide feedback. Click here to have your say!  Feedback closes on Friday 31 July 2026.

For further information contact Council on 4189 9100 or info@sbrc.qld.gov.au.
