South Burnett Regional Council advises that the existing 80km/h section of Maguire Road and Brocklehurst Road, Wattle Camp, has been reduced to 60km/h.
After a technical review, a decision was made at the January 2026 Traffic Advisory Committee meeting to provide consistent speed signage throughout the local area.
Below is an image outlining the upcoming changes as of Wednesday 6 May 2026.
“As the divisional Councillor, I support this change as it responds to local resident concerns and helps ensure our speed limits reflect the road conditions and the safety of all users,” said Cr Jane Erkens.
