South Burnett Regional Council advises that the existing 100km/h section of Ellesmere Road between Parker and Kumbia Roads, Ellesmere, has been reduced to 80km/h.
After a technical review, a decision was made at the January 2026 Traffic Advisory Committee meeting to provide consistent speed signage throughout the local area and allow for safer turning manoeuvres.
