South Burnett Regional Council advises that Webbers Bridge over Barambah Creek on Webbers Bridge Road, Stonelands is closed to all users, effective immediately.
Council has identified a safety issue with the timber bridge decking following an inspection. Council is actively arranging repairs to allow the bridge re-opening in a timely manner.
Alternative routes are available via Stonelands Road on the western side of the bridge and Bradleys Road on the eastern side of the bridge.
An electronic variable message signboard will be placed on the intersection of Stonelands Road and Webbers Bridge Road, and an additional signboard will be placed at the intersection of Silverleaf Road and Bradleys Road to advise road users of the closure.
