Full-Time Traineeships

Undergo a 12-month structured training program where you will work full-time gaining practical skills and experience. This program combines paid on-the-job training with formal study, where you will obtain a nationally recognised qualification.

Council annually recruits & onboards 10 Full-Time Trainees.

Eligibility for this program includes:

  • Minimum successful completion of Year 10 formal schooling
  • Minimum requirement of a current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence (P1 or P2 also accepted)
  • Permanent resident or citizen of Australia and/or New Zealand
