Apprenticeships

Complete a 4-year structured training program working Full-Time whilst gaining practical skills in our workshops across the region. This program combines paid on-the-job training with formal study, where you will obtain a nationally recognised qualification.

 Eligibility for this program includes:

  • Minimum successful completion of Year 10 formal schooling
  • Minimum requirement of a current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence (P1 or P2 also accepted)
  • Permanent resident or citizen of Australia and/or New Zealand

As a Council apprentice, you will be supported by your team of qualified and knowledgeable mentors to help guide you through your four-year apprenticeship

Applications open mid-September, depending on position availability.
