Nominations now open for the 2027 Australia Day Awards

Nominations are now open for the South Burnett region's annual Australia Day Awards for 2027.  The awards will be presented at 3pm on Sunday 24 January 2027 at the Kingaroy Town Hall.

These awards are an opportunity to recognise outstanding groups and individuals who have shown remarkable dedication and hard work to enhance the quality of life for the region.  These awards showcase the many outstanding contributions made by those who are nominated.

If you know of a person or community group dedicated to making the South Burnett a better place, please nominate them for a South Burnett Regional Council Award.  Nomination Guidelines and Criteria is available to view here(PDF, 2MB).
