Council is seeking an experienced Supervisor to oversee the delivery of maintenance and construction activities across Council’s transport assets, ensuring works are completed in line with agreed service levels. The role is responsible for supervising, leading and optimising the performance of Works teams through effective guidance, training, support and performance management, enabling crews to consistently deliver high-quality outcomes. The Supervisor will plan, prioritise and implement both Capital and Operational works programs, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standard. The successful applicant will bring demonstrated experience working within the road corridor in a local government or civil construction environment, along with proven leadership skills in supervising and coordinating multiple teams to meet project deadlines and maximise workforce performance.
MANDATORY:
• Minimum requirement of a current C Class driver’s licence
• General Safety Induction for Construction Worker (White Card)
DESIRABLE:
• Certificate IV in Civil Construction
• Traffic Management Design qualification
