COORDINATOR REGULATORY SERVICES

$108K - $133K per annum + Allowances + Super
Council is seeking a coordinator to provide direction to the Regulatory Services team that comprises of Local Laws, Compliance and the Animal Management centre within the Planning & Development branch. The role will lead and supervise a team of officers in undertaking a variety of activities including, allocating and monitoring workloads, resolve escalated customer and procedural issues, and assist the senior leadership team with the development of projects etc. The successful applicant will have comprehensive knowledge of and demonstrated experience in understanding and applying legislation with a strong consultative customer focus.
MANDATORY:
• Minimum requirement of a current C Class driver’s licence
• Tertiary education or equivalent qualification and/or demonstrated experience in a relevant discipline (e.g. compliance/local laws, environmental health etc)
• General Safety Induction for Construction Worker (White Card)
• Eligibility for membership with a relevant professional body
