WASTE COLLECTION OPERATOR (KINGAROY)

Permanent Full Time

$67K - $69K per annum + Allowances + Super

Council is seeking a proactive and skilled driver to deliver waste disposal services with efficiency and care, in line with Council’s operational schedules. In this diverse and hands-on role, you will operate a variety of trucks and heavy earthmoving equipment, including loaders, compactors, and other machinery essential for the daily upkeep of the landfill site. You will also assist with the ongoing maintenance and repair of the landfill, transfer stations, and roadside litter areas, which may involve the use of small plant and equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys practical outdoor work, takes pride in maintaining clean and functional public spaces, and is confident in operating heavy plant and performing general labouring duties within a landfill or waste management environment. MANDATORY:

• Minimum requirement of a current HR driver’s licence

• General Safety Induction for Construction Worker (White Card)

DESIRABLE:

• HC drivers licence

• Front End Loader Operator Ticket
