PRINCIPAL engineer (WORKS) (NANANGO)

Permanent Full Time 

$104K - $129K per annum + Allowances + Super

Council is seeking an experienced engineer to provide a high level of technical supervision of civil works programs for the construction and maintenance of transport assets/ civil works programs. The role will provide principal leadership, including technical advice and project direction in the development and implementation of works programs. Day-to-day duties will involve providing timely investigation and technical advice for customer requests, monitoring and management of the teams’ workload, minor works project management including supervision, financial management, identification and addressing the safety, quality and environmental aspects of assigned capital and operational works projects. The successful applicant will have substantial experience and knowledge in the management and delivery of civil works projects, well developed communication and interpersonal skills (including customer service and conflict resolution) and ability to supervise staff stimulating a high level of performance and successful teamwork.

Mandatory:

Teritary qualifications in a relevant field (e.g. Bachelor in Civil Engineering, Project Management).

Minimum requirement of a current C Class drivers licence.

General Safety Induction for Construction Worker (White Card). 

RPEQ membership or eligibility to obtain would be highly regarded.
