PLANT OPERATOR TRUCK (MR) /LABOURER (KINGAROY)

$63K - $69K per annum + Allowances + Super
Council is seeking a reliable and effective team member to join its road maintenance and construction team. This role involves the safe and efficient operation of Council’s truck fleet, plant and equipment, along with general labouring duties during road construction and maintenance activities. The successful applicant will deliver high-quality workmanship and demonstrate proven experience in labouring and operating mobile plant within a construction environment. Sound knowledge of road construction and maintenance techniques, together with a strong commitment to safety and teamwork, is essential to succeed in this role.
MANDATORY:
• Truck (MR) drivers licence
• General Safety Induction for Construction Worker (White Card)
DESIRABLE:
• HC Truck licence
• Relevant plant tickets/ certifications
• Traffic Control Ticket (Level 1)
• Certificate III in Civil Construction
