PLANT OPERATOR LOADER (WONDAI)

$64K - $67K per annum + Allowances + Super
Council is seeking an experienced Plant Operator to deliver high-quality, specialist operation of Council’s loader and other plant and equipment. The role involves operating mobile plant within construction and maintenance environments, as well as undertaking general labouring duties, routine servicing and maintenance of plant, and traffic control activities. This includes implementing approved traffic control plans and supporting works as required. The successful applicant will demonstrate proven experience in the safe and efficient operation of mobile plant, sound knowledge of road construction and maintenance techniques, and the ability to meet quarry, construction, and maintenance standards in a Council environment.
MANDATORY:
• Certificate of Competency in Loader Operations
• Minimum requirement of a current C Class driver’s licence
• General Safety Induction for Construction Worker (White Card)
DESIRABLE:
• HR Truck Licence and other plant tickets/ certifications
• Traffic Controller Licence
• Certificate III in Civil Construction
