South Burnett Regional Council advises that gravel resheeting works, funded through the Queensland Government’s 2019-21 Works for Queensland Program (W4Q R3) and Council’s 2019/20 Gravel Resheeting programme, continues in the following locations during late January and the month of February:

  • Gayndah Hivesville Road, Wigton (W4Q)
  • Continuing – Ironpot Road, Ironpot (W4Q)
  • Burra Burri Road, Chapingah
  • Coolabunia Malar Road, Hodgleigh (W4Q)
  • Continuing – Sportsground Road, Wooroolin
  • Continuing – East Wooroolin Road, Wooroolin
  • Old Wondai Road, Charlestown and Wattle Camp
  • Meehans Road, Memerambi
  • Hoggs Road, Wooroolin
  • Mt Hope Road, Booie

The primary objective of the 2019-21 W4Q program is to support eligible Councils undertake job-creating and/or job sustaining maintenance and minor infrastructure projects relating to assets owned or controlled by Councils.

In order to provide a safe work environment, the work areas will be controlled by signage or with traffic controllers as required.  Local access to properties within the work area will be permitted. Motorists are requested to travel with extreme care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage.  Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks you for your patience whilst works are in progress.
