Back

South Burnett Libraries are excited to announce that the Larrikin Puppets will take to the stage in an extra special story time on Wednesday 19 May 2021 at the Kingaroy Town Hall from 10:30am!

Larrikin Puppets are known for their highly entertaining and captivating feel-good puppetry aimed at children aged 0-9 and their families.

The show celebrates fun, kindness and play while nurturing child development, encouraging audiences to talk, dance, sing and play along with wide eyed wonder, joy and laughs from beginning to end. The performance concludes with a demonstration of how all the different puppets operate in the show.

The puppeteers have received training in the USA under Jim Henson puppeteers from The Muppets and Sesame Street.  Featuring intriguing characters, catchy original songs, funny skits and live interaction, this is one you and your family do not want to miss!

The Larrikin Puppet show is proudly funded and supported by the Queensland Government and the State Library of Queensland.

Bookings are essential for each family member attending due to COVID-19 regulations, with a strict cap on audience numbers. Please book through the Kingaroy Library on 4189 9256.

Doors open at 9:30am for a 10:30am start, to allow attendees to register and find a seat. If you are feeling unwell and cannot attend, please cancel your booking.
