Upgrades to Wheatlands State School carpark commenced

Back

South Burnett Regional Council wishes to advise that the upgrade of the Wheatland’s State School setdown and parking areas adjacent to Byee Road has commenced, with works expected to be complete by Wednesday 27 January 2021 subject to weather and other external constraints.

Works will include extending the existing sealed carpark, installation of a bus turn-around zone, setdown area and pedestrian footpath.

In order to provide a safe work environment, the work areas will be controlled by signage and with traffic controllers as required. Local access to properties within the work area will be permitted, however some delays may occur.

These works have been funded under the School Transport Infrastructure Program (STIP).

For further information regarding the project works, please contact Council’s Infrastructure team on (07) 4189 9100 or email Council.
