Lost, Found and Impounded Animals

Lost animals

If your pet has gone missing, contact the RSPCA on 1300 264 624 or alternatively you can view the Burnett Lost Pet Register Facebook Page.

Found animals

If you have found someone's pet or animals roaming, please contact Council on phone (07) 4189 9100 and if possible, provide:

• Your name and contact details
• Registration tag number
• Description of the animal
• When and where it was found

Stray and surrendered animals can be taken to Council's Animal Management Facility, located at the Kingaroy RSPCA.

Impounded animals

Any domestic animal found wandering will be impounded at Council’s animal management facilities.

Impounded animals may incur charges and/or penalties.
