Expression of Interest – Localised Mental Health Initiatives

Expressions of Interest for Localised Mental Health Initiatives will open 1 August 2022 and close 31 August 2022.

South Burnett Regional Council in partnership with Queensland Health is calling for Expressions of Interests that will deliver coordinated events to assist with mental health and community wellbeing and/or raise awareness of available resources and initiatives. Funding is available for up to $3,000 per event/project.

Events/Projects must meet one or more of the following outcomes:

• Provision of unique opportunities for community members to come together to socialise and connect with others in the community to build a level of community resilience and connectedness.
• Demonstration as a community, the region understands the importance of mental health and acknowledges the tough times in relation to the drought, isolation, and other adversities.
• Awareness of selfcare and acknowledgement of the mental health of others.
• Community members gaining a better understanding of what the community has to offer in the way of support.

Applications will be assessed by the Community Grants Program Assessment Panel against the Community Grants Program Policy and the Localised Mental health Initiatives Funding Agreement.
