Active Women and Girls Program in the South Burnett
The Department of Sport, Racing and Olympics and Paralympic Games provided $25,000 to South Burnett Regional Council to deliver a range of recreational activities for women and girls in rural townships. The Active Women and Girls Program has been created to enable Queenslanders to participate in sport and recreation activities.
South Burnett mums, daughters, sisters, aunts, grandmothers, carers, and friends can sign up to the free activities including:
Learn to Skate with Chiggy Classes
- Date to be advised - at Kumbia Recreational Reserve – 8am to 12pm
- Date to be advised - at Blackbutt Skate Park – 2pm to 6pm
Yoga
- Murgon Town Hall, starting from Thursday 1 May 2025 and running weekly to Thursday 5 June 2025: Book HERE
