Construction of Unmade Roads Policy
Council will not form or upgrade an unformed/un-trafficked gazetted Council road to a parcel of land, where no existing or practical access exists. It is the responsibility of the landholder to provide access to their property. If the landholder constructs a road it must be done to Council’s standards (see Appendix A). After completion, Council will inspect the road and providing all requirements are met, the road will then be maintained by Council.
