Grants & Assistance for Community Organisations

Council’s new Community Assistance program has two rounds being offered each year (August & February). South Burnett Regional Council encourages applications from not-for-profit organisations based within the region whose events and projects benefit our residents.  The program has three strands of funding:

• Community Assistance;
• Community In-kind Assistance;
• Community Elite Performance Assistance.

The amount of funding available in each round varies according to budget.  The number of eligible applications received will be a determining factor in grant allocations.  Applicants should check their eligibility before submitting applications.

Round 1 2012/2013 – 1 August - 31 August 2012
Round 2 2012/2013 – 1 February - 28 February 2013

No applications will be accepted on old application forms and no applications for Community Assistance or In-kind Assistance will be accepted out of round. Elite Performance Assistance can be requested throughout the entire year.
