Sue Beyer to host Short Film Workshop funded by RADF

With the digital age upon us, access to technology is already in the palm of our hands. Most of us have access to a phone and have taken the ‘odd' video of our friends and family. The Regional Arts Development Fund have funded a short-film workshop to guide and develop those who'd like to further their filming and editing skills. The final films will be then uploaded onto YouTube for the whole world to see!

Reputable arts company ‘Flying Arts' have recommended our workshop artist Sue Beyer, an accomplished and creative short-film artist, who will be running the workshop over the Saturday 4th May and Sunday 5th May at the Nanango Cultural Centre. This workshop is open to all ages, with preference given to those who are residents in the South Burnett. Registrations are essential and numbers are limited.

Hilarious Magda's coming to Nanango!

You may have already heard that Magda Szubanski is coming to town!

She has been on our Australian television screens for quite some time now, and we're looking forward to her visit to the South Burnett Region in Nanango.

This is the 7th Consecutive Year that South Burnett Regional Council and the National Film and Sound Archive have worked together to bring the National Film and Sound Archive Big Screen Film Festival, and organisers are promising another full itinerary of events for you and your family and friends.
