Where are we?

Visitor Information Centres

The South Burnett welcomes visitors at any time and our Visitor Information Centres endeavour to help make their stay with us as pleasant and enjoyable as possible.

The Centres are located throughout the South Burnett in key locations within towns so as to ensure that the visitor is able to access the unique experiences each area has to offer.

InformationThe Visitor Information Centres stock a large and diverse range of local produce, souvenirs, art and craft as well as providing audio visual displays, internet access and meeting facilities, all designed to assist visitors and locals make the most of their time in the South Burnett.

The Centres provide a wide range of free services for visitors. These include current tourism information on the region such as directional town and regional maps, information relating to attractions, accommodation, self-drive itineraries, events and 'local' information.

South Burnett Regional Council operates the centres, assisted by enthusiastic local volunteers. These wonderful people are proud of our region and have in-depth, first hand knowledge of the South Burnett's many attractions. They welcome the opportunity to introduce visitors to all the things to see and do that make the South Burnett such a great place to visit and live.

Volunteers are always welcome. Anyone interested in becoming involved in the Centres and sharing their local knowledge with visitors on a voluntary basis should contact the Centres by phoning the numbers listed below, or call in and speak to the friendly Team Leaders.
