    South Burnett Regional Council has enlisted the help of Crow FM 90.7 to host a charity auction "Your Bid Helps a Kid" to raise funds for Make-A-Wish Australia. A variety of items donated by local businesses will be auctioned on air. Tune in & make a bid this Friday 18 September between 6.00-10.00am.

  • 18/09/2009 - "Your Bid Helps a Kid" charity auction a HUGE success
    An astounding $2,070 was raised for Make-A-Wish Australia this morning through the live auction conducted by Wayne Kratzmann of Crow FM 90.7. The radio station put in an extraordinary effort and we are utterly indebted to them for their assistance.

    QRWN is holding a wearable art competition as part of the 2009 Cultural Extravaganza held in Toowoomba on the 20th September 2009.     South Burnett Regional Council is introducing uniform water restriction levels across the region. This means that all areas will have the same water use rules for Level 1 to Level 5 restrictions. New Restriction levels become effective from 1 August 2009.

    The Commonwealth Bank's Community Grants Program was introduced in 2007 to support local initiatives that improve the health and wellbeing of Australian children and local communities. In 2009, a total of $550,000 will be allocated in individual grants of up to $10,000.
