03/10/2019 - Council wants to hear from you - Listening Tours 2019 commenced

South Burnett Regional Council’s 2019 Listening Tours have commenced throughout the region, with the first event taking place at Maidenwell Hall on Monday, 16 September. The Listening Tour is an opportunity for the community to come along and share their thoughts and ideas on a range of South Burnett Regional Council projects and activities.

Mayor Keith Campbell explained that the Listening Tours were an excellent opportunity to give feedback to Council, and that participation in the events would help to inform and influence the decisions made by Council.

“Council's Listening Tours are a great opportunity to share your thoughts and ideas on a range of South Burnett Regional Council initiatives. Join us at any of the meetings across the region,” Mayor Campbell said.

Listening Tours are scheduled for the following venues:

  • Tue 8 Oct - 1-3pm - Proston - Proston Community Hall

  • Tue 8 Oct - 6-8pm - Durong - Durong Hall

  • Wed 9 Oct - 1-3pm - Kingaroy - Town Hall Reception Room

  • Wed 9 Oct - 6-8pm - Kumbia - Kumbia Hall Supper Room

  • Thu 10 Oct - 1-3pm - Blackbutt-Benarkin - Blackbutt Memorial Hall

  • Thu 10 Oct - 6-8pm - Nanango - Nanango RSL Long Hai Room

  • Fri 11 Oct - 1-3pm - Wondai - Wondai Town Hall

  • Fri 11 Oct - 6-8pm - Murgon - Murgon Town Hall

  • Mon 21 Oct - 1-3pm - Bunya Mountains - Poppies on the Hill
