Media Release - Notice of Roadworks - Gore Street, Murgon
Installation of a Concrete Cycleway/Footpath
(Stephens Street West to Dutton Street East)
Council has programmed the installation of a new concrete cycleway/footpath in Gore Street, Murgon, from Stephens Street West to Dutton Street East, in the week commencing Monday 12 February 2018.
The project will include excavation, placing of concrete, line marking and signage on the school side of Gore Street for approximately 340m. It is expected the work will be completed by April 2018, weather permitting.
In order to provide a safe work environment the footpath and parking lane in the immediate work area will be closed with minor disruptions anticipated. Through traffic will be controlled by signage or traffic control with some minor delays expected.
There may restrictions for local residents and or business owners to their properties for short periods, however when accesses are to be affected they will be notified in advance by the Onsite Supervisor.
