Management Changes at Bjelke-Petersen Dam and Lake Boondooma
Visitors and locals alike will continue to enjoy all the wonderful experiences on offer at Bjelke-Petersen Dam and Lake Boondooma despite the upcoming departure of current managers Corey Goldie & Niki Buchett.
Council understands Corey and Niki’s desire to move closer to family and wish them well in their future endeavours and thank them for all their efforts at both facilities over the last five (5) years.
Council will work with the current management team and staff to ensure a smooth transition to minimise any impact on our patrons. An Interim Manager will be appointed at Yallakool over the coming weeks with Lake Boondooma to continue business as usual.
South Burnett Regional Council is committed to ensuring both facilities remain as premier tourist destinations in our region.
