Keep Saturday 8 June 2019 free in your calendar… for the Kingaroy Supa IGA Mayor’s Charity Ball

‘I am delighted to announce that Kingaroy Supa IGA are the event sponsors for the 2019 Mayor’s Charity Ball. Kingaroy Supa IGA have supported the Ball since 2015 and it’s terrific to have them on board once again’, said Mayor Campbell.

“Kingaroy Supa IGA is proud to be supporting an event that sees profits going back into its community and we encourage businesses and individuals to support this worthy cause”, said Trace O’Neill.

The Red Earth Community Foundation are the charity that will receive and distribute all proceeds from the evening. The Red Earth Community Foundation has been supporting the South Burnett since 2013 and one of its first projects was to coordinate and deliver funds raised through the “2013 Mayor’s Red Earth South Burnett Flood Appeal”. Over $90,000 was raised and distributed to property owners, businesses and community organisations, helping our region get back on its feet after the damaging floods.

Mayor Campbell said, “I encourage all South Burnett residents to build on their strengths - for their families and community, so we can all enjoy an even better South Burnett for many years to come. Organisations like Red Earth Community Foundation can help us to reach further than we once might have imagined.”

The evening will commence with forecourt entertainment by MisFitz followed by a sit-down dinner inside the town hall showcasing regional fine food. After dinner, guests can enjoy a laugh with sell-out comedian Joel Ozborn and music by Franky Smart. There will be a short fundraising auction and plenty of time for dancing and socialising.

Tickets go on sale today. Contact Council on 4189 9100 or visit our Kingaroy Customer Service Centre to book your table and/or tickets.

If you can’t attend this event, Mayor Campbell is happy to discuss other options with you that can assist. Please contact him on 4189 9155.
