Easter Saturday Meet and Greet Proston
The Proston Round Table are holding a Meet and Greet Morning Tea from 8.30am to 10.30am at Proston Railway Park on Easter Saturday morning to welcome visitors to our area that are driving through or travelling to Boondooma Dam for the long weekend.
Cr Kathy Duff, Portfolio representative for NRM & Parks, explained that a special part of the morning will be the launch of Council’s free overnight stay situated in Rodney Street. “Council planted some beautiful bottle trees to delineate the area and the Proston Men’s Shed have organised signage for the area which will be funded through my Councillor discretionary fund”. Cr Duff said.
Free visitor bags will be handed out to travellers at the morning tea to encourage a longer stay and return visits. All are welcome to attend.
