Update on Christmas Lights Competition

Council will again be hosting a Christmas Lights Competition for 2009. Entries are expected to be open for the month of November with an official lights map available early December. Entry forms will be made available via this website as well as advertised through a variety of local publications. This competition is thoroughly enjoyed by members of the community (especially the younger ones!) with many beautiful displays on show.

Council will be seeking sponsorship to help fund the prizes for this event. Register your interest for sponsorship today by contacting Executive Services on 07 4162 6204.

2008 Winners

The competition ran hot last year with plenty of fantastic displays in every town of the South Burnett. A huge thank you is extended to everyone who entered the competition, all entries are well worth the trip. Christmas Light Maps have been published in the South Burnett Times and are also available via the following links:

Judging has been finalised in all town areas now except for Wondai which will be judged on or around the 19th December, so make sure those lights are still turned on Wondai! Congratulations to the winners of the competition who are as follows.
