PDF document accessibility

Where possible, information on the South Burnett Regional Council website are provided in HTML or other equally accessible formats. In some cases, however, resources are identified that can only be provided efficiently in Portable Document Format (PDF). For those with specific accessibility requirements, the following resources are provided by Adobe  to aid in accessing PDF documents.

Newer versions of Adobe® Reader® incorporate a number of accessibility features. The latest version of Adobe Reader is available from the icon below:

Since PDF documents may not be readily accessible to screen readers and may not be formatted for visually impaired users, the following services provided by Adobe can be used to convert PDF documents into plain text or plain HTML documents.

For converting offline documents, you can send your PDF as an email attachment and a converted version of the document will be emailed back to you.

Non-PDF documents

We are working towards having non-PDF versions of documents available on the website. If you would like a non-PDF version of a documents, please email info@southburnett.qld.gov.au  or phone (07) 4162 6200. Where available, a copy will be forwarded to you within 5 working days.

To view PDF documents you may require Adobe Reader. You can download the latest version free of charge using the icon below.
