Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF)

What is R.A.D.F.?

Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) is a partnership between South Burnett Regional Council and Arts Queensland, to support professional artists, emerging artists and arts practitioners living in regional Queensland. 

RADF funding is there to assist professional arts practitioners across the arts spectrum by facilitating employment opportunities via workshops, or projects for the arts community requiring professional teachers

The program focuses on the development of quality art and arts practice for, and with, regional communities by providing the following funding categories.

Developing Regional Skills - Supporting professional artisits and arts workers.

Building Community Cultural Capacity - Supporting locally determined arts and cultural priorities by your regional council,

Cultural Tourism - Supporting cultural activities not supported by other state government agencies

Regional Partnerships - Supporting regional arts development in Queensland

Interest Free Arts Loan - Complementary federal arts funding

Concept Development - Supporting participation of community members in arts development projects run by professional artists and arts workers

The new funding round dates are open from September 1 to September 23 2009. 

All applications will be assessed at the RADF Meeting on 12th October 2009.

How to complete an RADF Budget Sheet.

To ensure your best possible chance of success, as it is highly competitive and there is a selection process by the RADF committee,  please ensure you read the Guidelines for Applicants information booklet before completing your application.
